This course provides additional reinforcement of the basic information related to clinical documentation improvement (CDI) as well as the industry regulations and standard for reviewing medical records, determining a principal diagnosis, and assigning a diagnosis-related group (DRG). The content is provided using multiple modalities including PowerPoint presentation and interactive practical application using case studies for analysis. Contact hours are awarded commensurate with the total time of session attendance and completion of the course evaluation survey.
